The White Rock congregation is made up of a broad range of people that includes families with young children, parents with older children, teenagers, married and single adults, and people in their senior years. We believe that God gives each Christian spiritual gifts, as well as, a special perspective from which to communicate the salvation story. The result of these gifts is a congregation with a broad array of talents, skills and personal stories to use in the service of the Lord.
The congregation seeks, always to live up to the words of our Church Theme:
A great door for effective service is opened unto us and there are many adversaries. (1st Corinthians 16:9)
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John 12:32)
I will give unto the Lord nothing less than my best. Joy, We are one in the Lord
We take several lessons from our church theme. First, God has work he wants the White Rock Church to do, and, he has given us what we need to complete the work. The work is to lift up Jesus by telling and showing people who he is. Finally, because of what Jesus has done for us, we can give the Lord nothing less than our best, and we give it with Joy.
